HAP has consistently collaborated with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to develop and implement innovative service models, such as home care, improved management of non-communicable diseases through the use of protocols in Primary Health Care, care for the elderly, and more.
These organisations are very strong technically and HAP will continue to collaborate with them in order to improve access to and quality of primary health care services. HAP will support and collaborate with CSOs and Media operating in the domain of health advocacy with the aim of:
– Strengthening CSO capacities for situation analysis, data generation, and evidence production with a focus on primary health care, vulnerable groups, inequity in health, gender equality etc.
– Enhancing the role of CSOs in health policymaking and planning processes;
– Strengthening the role of CSOs in relation to governance improvement through enhanced transparency and accountability.
