As of 1 April 2019, the Health for All Project, funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Collaboration (SDC) and implemented by Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) through HAP Center, entered its second phase.
In order to plan the activities and priorities of the period April 2019 to March 2020, HAP organized the Annual Planning Workshop that was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Swiss Embassy, Healthcare Service Operator, Health Insurance Fund, Local Units of Health Services, WHO Office in Albania, local government, healthcare centers, universities and NGOs operating the health sector.
During her speech, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection Mira Rakacolli appraised HAP’s contribution in the positive change of primary health care indicators in the regions where the project operated during the first phase and expressed the gratitude for the technical and financial support provided to the Albanian governement from the Swiss government through HAP.
During the planning workshop, participants discussed in concrete terms the main activities of the first year of HAP-2 that will contribute in integrating the outcomes and main activity lines of the project with the strategic priorities of the PHC reform in Albania.
