The residents of Zall Mner village will soon have access to improved healthcare services thanks to the modern infrastructure of the health centre rebuilt with the investment of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation through the Health for All project.
The Zall Mner health centre is the third building being rebuilt from the ground up after the earthquake damage. The other two, a health centre in Ishëm (Durrës Municipality) and another in Borizanë (Krujë Municipality), were inaugurated in January 2022 and are already functioning normally, serving a population of 12,000 residents. The investment of approximately 500,000 Swiss francs from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation for these health facilities included design, implementation, supervision, construction work, furnishing, and the purchase of modern medical equipment.
The Swiss government provided over 9 million euros for Albania’s recovery after the earthquake on November 26, 2019.
