Since April 1, 2019, HAP is working on the development and implementation of a co-financing mechanism for the reconstruction and maintenance of the health centers/health posts, with the participation of local government units, in cooperation with regional and local health care authorities.
In this respect, during the period July-September 2020, informative meetings were held with representatives of 10 municipalities in the Dibra and Fier regions and local health authorities. This mechanism foresees two application stages:
– The first phase consists in the presentation of concept projects designed on the basis of health and demographic data of the community benefiting from the rehabilitation of the HC/health posts where the intervention is planned;
– The second phase is the submission of the engineering project for the health center or health posts to be reconstructed.
Following the announcement of the call for applications, HAP will provide training sessions on completing the application form and accompanying application documents for the first phase of concept projects. The beneficiaries of the training are the LGUs, LHCUs teams and, if applicable, the Regional Directorates of the Health Care Operator (Vlora, Tirana).
