HAP supported the organization of the 7th International Public Health Conference which took place online on March 23, 2021. The subject matter of this year’s conference was the “Integration of Public Health Services in Primary Health Care”.
Prof. Pascal Bovet (University of Lausanne), invited by HAP and the Swiss Institute of Public Health and Family Medicine (Swiss TPH), was part of the panel. The discussion topic of Prof. Bovet was “Public health and individual approaches to controlling hypertension at the intersection of primary health care.”
Also, Dr. Jolanda Hyska (University of Medicine) presented in parallel sessions of the conference, two abstracts based on context analysis for the Development of competencies of nurses in Albania, drafted with the HAP support. More specifically, Dr. Hyska presented “Nursing education in response to the national health agenda and competency-based curriculum” and “The challenging role of family nurses in responding to COVID-19 pandemics”.
